126 Mile Route

Our new 126 mile route is designed to provide a challenge for experienced riders to test themselves over a long and hilly course.

The route has 6300 feet (1900 metres) of climbing. Most of the hills are in the first 45 miles, including climbs at Whiteleaf and Wardrobes.  Near Thame the route joins the 80 and 100 mile routes, after which there is a flatter section to pick up time or let your legs recover, before a few rolling hills in the last 30 miles to the finish.

There will be 4 feed stations, at roughly 25, 55, 75 and 100 miles.

In order to make sure riders arrive at the feed stations before they close, the start time for this ride will be no later than 08:00. Riders who do not reach Long Crendon by 11:45 will be moved onto the remainder of 80 mile route, which will be around 20 miles shorter.
